Summer for Continuing Families

Application Process

  1. Schedule an interview and tour for you and your child with center's director.

  2. Review Parent Handbook and other materials. Call director with any questions or for references.

  3. Submit Application Form, $25 non-refundable Application Fee and Student Information Form.

  4. After reviewing the application, Academy will inform you of an admission decision.

  5. Selection for admission will be determined by Academy's ability to meet your family's needs.

  6. During modernization period, mail application, application fee and Student Information Form to Main Office at 10109 Darnestown Road, Rockville, MD 20850 or bring to Open House meeting November 18th and December 9th at Galway Elementary School.

 

Enrollment Process

  1. Once notified of admission, secure an enrollment packet from the center director or download the forms online.

  2. Return the following completed items as soon as possible or by the date specified by center director.

    • Enrollment Agreement

    • $75 Non-refundable Enrollment Fee

    • $50 Activity Fee

    • Security Deposit for child care programs or June's non-refundable tuition for part-day programs.

    • Acknowledgement form from inside cover of "A Parent's Guide to Regulated Child Care"

  3. When all items are received by due date, a confirmation letter will be sent.

  4. Attend a mandatory Parent/Student Orientation or home visits for Pre-Kindergarten students.

  5. To allow for review and planning and to comply with Maryland law, parents must return all forms at least one month prior to start date. Children will not be permitted to attend without a complete file.

    • Emergency Form/Medical Condition form

    • Health Inventory (Part I- Parent)

    • Health Inventory (Part II- Physician)

    • Medication Authorization Form  (Release to administer medication.  Must match prescription container.)

    • Directory form, Partnership survey and Car Seat Policy acknowledgement

    • Materials Fee (Tiny Tots through School-Age (except Before School Only)

            (waived for Galway families)
